Two-person exhibition
Mystic Pilgrims
Installation views

Mystic Pilgrims was a two-person exhibition by Ian Swanson and Johnny Stanish presented during Peekskill Project V, the citywide program organized by the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art.
Installed in a vacant industrial interior, the exhibition treated the building as an active material. Suspended paintings, freestanding structures, floor works, and architectural interventions were distributed through the open room, using its exposed beams, windows, masonry, and existing utilities as part of the installation.
The exhibition was conceived as a shared spatial project rather than a conventional pairing of discrete bodies of work.
